The story as a whole was fun and enjoyable to read. The steamy scenes were light and hot, but done with taste. I think this is my third Kait Gamble book and it only shows that I have enjoyed her writing throughout the years!

This book was an easy read for me, having finished it in one evening. Maia and Alex met in college but events beyond their control led them to completely different lives.
A chance meeting brings Maia face to face with the man she loved with all her heart, until he dropped off the face of the earth, leaving her pregnant and alone. What she didn't know was that Alex had been in a horrific car accident, leaving him severely injured and without the memories of their time together.
The challenges they face in coming to terms with the past while trying to create a future makes the present hard to navigate but the author does a wonderful job creating characters you can't help but root for.
