I have to say, the character pairing is very unique and not something I have seen done in a book before. I was skeptical when I first started reading it, but Emmy and Cotton work. Why? I’m not sure if it is the steamy hot sex scenes or the incredible writing of the author, but I could not help but want these two together. Emmy has a poor self-esteem because she is not as “tiny” as her friends, but Cotton makes her feel sexy and beautiful when they are together. What is there not to love about a guy that cherishes his woman’s body? Yum! City Country is a fun, quirky, sexy book that is well done. I look forward to more from this series.

They have a fun, quirky and sexual relationship right off the bat and I found I could relate to Em in many ways. Would I recommend this book? Sure, especially if you love romance where opposites attract.

I liked the pacing of this book. I also liked the chemistry between the main characters. Even if they seem to be opposites, any reader will immediately see that they were right for each other. Of course, the many sex scenes in the book will emphasize that. But I don't have any complaints. I love cowboys. I love romance. I love steam. I’m sure if this series goes further, I will be one of those following it.
