Joyce: Welcome to HEA, Tanith! Please tell us a bit about your new release, I Wish I’d Never Met You.
Tanith: I Wish I’d Never Met You follows Flick as she returns home from university only to encounter her closeted ex-girlfriend Elodie, who broke her heart four years ago and has regretted it ever since.
If you ask my husband what it’s like being married to a writer, he’ll have a few answers ready. The times he’s been queried about his role in my latest sex scene would probably spring to mind, as would the hours spent on the computer hammering away at the keyboard or on the couch feverishly writing notes for tomorrow’s writing.
When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
It’s something I wanted my whole life, but I only started writing for publication when I was 27. Up until then I had only ever written for my own enjoyment (and none of it was much good!) I was inspired by the onset of my thirtieth birthday to get my debut novel finished, and the rest is history.
• Amalfi, Italy. Possibly the most beautiful place I've ever visited. Stunning coastal scenery, close toPompeii and Vesuvius — two of the most remarkable sights I've ever seen — and offering absolutely delicious pasta, mozzarella and lemon tiramisu.
