• Chile. From desert in the north to mountains in the south, you can go from sunning yourself to seeing penguins in one day. Add in great beer, wine and pisco — with a layer of locally grown avocado on your steak and the best-tasting mustard I've had anywhere in the world — and you can spend lazy days just roaming from café to street vendor to restaurant in search of the best food and drink Chile has to offer.
