I've read all the books in the series thus far, and this is my favorite. Meri is smart and playful, with a genuine personality that made me fall in love with her right away. Ted's protective, hard exterior is appealing, but it's his softness which he tries to protect that had me pulling for him to finally let go and embrace the relationship with Meri. Tori does a fantastic job taking the reader through many of the thoughts and feelings one might have when entering the world of kink/BDSM and the D/s lifestyle.
