H. Batterson is a debut fantasy novelist and artist in the Chicagoland area. Growing up, she developed an interest in folklore and loved getting lost in a compelling fantasy world. She began writing short stories in the genre, as well as poetry, at a young age, quite often incorporating drawings or sketches to accompany the text. Fast forward several years, and a random doodle somehow morphed into the book you now hold.
Hope lives with her husband, Matt, and their daughter, along with a small zoo of pets with very big personalities. None of this would be possible without their support.
