There was so much I loved about this book. It was a great read from beginning to end. Obviously, the sex scenes were fantastic. The romance aspect wasn't lost on me either. It has me wanting more. More about these characters, more from this author. I would highly recommend this book.

4.5 stars. Given an ARC. Have since purchased my own copy. Brilliant balance of intense sexual content and the emotional connection between the main characters, James and Amanda. I liked James and Amanda -- they weren't just pretty, fictional people who bang; they were interesting, complete people. I loved the way their forays into humiliation scenes contrasted their loving relationship *and* built up the trust and tenderness between them. Not sure I'd ever realized that could be the case until reading this book. Enjoyed the author's writing style -- it's well paced and engrossing. Dialogue flows naturally, and each character's voice is distinct. I've been entertained and enticed, and I feel like I learned things too. As a result, I'm looking forward to reading more books in this series and more books by this author.
