Ah, a sexy Spanish pirate with an accent that would melt steel. What more could I ask for. This was one hot and sexy read, a short story with bite. I read the whole thing at one go, couldn’t put it down. Raphael is a business-like pirate. He knows the value of an unmolested hostage and is determined to keep Lady Elise in the same pristine condition in which he found her – more or less. He is inventive in the ways he finds to enjoy his beguiling captive but without damaging her value. Lady Elise has other ideas, but despite her best efforts the notorious buccaneer seems impervious to her efforts. He doesn’t take virgins, and he doesn’t ruin his ransoms. Or, so he thinks.
