Three of my favorite vacation destinations:

• Gold Coast, Queensland Australia. A winter holiday here is wonderful. The temperatures are warm around 23-25 degrees C (about 74 F) and with the blue skies, miles of long white sandy beaches, and mountain ranges, it's hard to beat. There are so many things to do, fabulous restaurants, first-class shopping and theme parks all within 20 minutes of each other. The people in this city are very friendly and relaxed.

Many of us suffer from what I call “word blindness”. The fact we can read and re-read a manuscript and not notice mistakes is commonplace. The mind interprets the story, as we desire it to be and has the ability to cloak problems. Frequent mistakes are missing words, incorrect spelling, continuity, and dropping into telling.
